Today, I want to welcome you in…

Did I say it too soon? Are you expecting the guessing time? For a change, I thought it would be nice to cut off the chase and hop straight to our escapade!
And yes, we will be visiting the Botanic Garden in Singapore to explore the fascinating world of flowers! 🌹🐝🌻
Are you ready? Let’s go! 😉

We will be viewing different kinds of orchids today but first, let me give you a quick trivia: did you know that Singapore’s national flower is an orchid? It is called Vanda Miss Joaquim. ⭐
It was named in memory of Miss Agnes Joaquim who successfully crossed Vanda hookeriana and Vanda teres in her garden in 1893. It was said that the orchid was chosen because of its resilience and year-round blooming quality. Also, the flower is mainly associated with hybrids, and for Singapore, it symbolizes its multicultural heritage.
Interesting, isn’t it? Come on in, let’s take a closer look at the flowers around. 😎

Are you enjoying it so far? Here’s another set of flowers. 😍

Gorgeous, aren’t they? The colors, the formations – everyone is different but all give the same sense of satisfaction when perceiving them. 🌈
I hope you enjoyed our short sightseeing today.
‘Till our next! ❤
